How it works for e-commerce / retail

01

Paste a product or category URL

Drop in any competitor's product page or category listing. Works on any public storefront — no browser extension or API key needed.

02

Target price and stock elements

Use the CSS selector mode to watch only price and inventory elements, not the whole page. Cuts noise to near-zero on dynamic storefronts.

03

Get an AI-summarised diff by email

When Diffwatch sees a change, it emails you a plain-English summary: which product changed, what the old price was, what it is now.

02

Frequently asked

Does this work on JS-rendered storefronts?

Diffwatch fetches rendered HTML, so client-side price and stock updates are captured in most cases. Works on Shopify, WooCommerce, BigCommerce, and most brand D2C stores.

Can I watch multiple competitor stores?

Yes. Set up a separate watch per URL. Pro users can monitor unlimited product and category pages simultaneously.

How often does Diffwatch check?

Free plan checks every 60 minutes. Pro plan checks every 5 minutes — fast enough to catch flash sales, stealth price cuts, or surprise sell-outs.

Can I bulk-import a list of product URLs?

The REST API supports programmatic watch creation — you can loop through a CSV of product URLs and create a watch for each in a few lines of code. See /docs/api.
